A Little Behind (2024)
Mt. Shiva, also known as Bahai Jar (6,142m) is a formidable mountain situated in Pangi Valley, Himachal Pradesh. It is a technical peak to approach with very few successful attempts from the past. We have one life and all we have to do is to spend it with all we have. To experience our true spirits we decided to climb the mountain independently. From covering glaciers, rock patches and scree zones, we climbed for hours till our fingers bled. The valley changes its ambience frequently and in the blink of an eye, the weather turned against us. With sinking hearts, we had to change our decision for the summit. Still now, we can feel the outrageous vigour inside our minds and muscles!
Mardi Himal (2024)
The weather was pleasant as it's supposed to be in November. The opulent Mt. Macchapuchare was beaming between the clouds. Among the cold, enjoyed the warm food from the local community followed by sharing stories of each other. But the last part was surprising. I thought I would be alone throughout the trek as I started early in the midnight and was trying to look for the right path on the snowy terrains. But these two energetic, excited, tail-wagging friends came along from the dark till the warm light of Mardi Himal.
OSLA (2025)
The fresh snowfall brings new energy to the village. During the snowfall, it becomes quite hard to work outside, but the local people continue their daily tasks as usual. This weather brings them renewed hope before summer arrives. Every year, a Meat Festival happens in this village. Local people gather near the old Temple to welcome a new season along with music, dance, and food. They wear traditional clothes made from lamb wool. In Mountains, fire plays a very important role. Every family member, including young children, helps with household chores. Daily hard work for everyone.
The Great Lakes (2024)
As we walked through the enormous valleys and mountain passes, we got glimpses of limitless hills, rivers, vast meadows, hanging glaciers, waterfalls, stones, lakes and whatnot?! They call it heaven on earth for a reason. Because it’s Kashmir Great Lakes trek! Our hearts were singing with the song of the dandelion-embedded trails. Our legs kept pushing us to that extra mile to feel the tranquillity of the sea-green lakes surrounded by the iced mountains. Each day was a challenge to cover up over 10 kilometres. But it got away in the glimpses of eyes. Some of us were tired to walk but we helped each other to carry on. In every journey, we understand each other’s limitations as well as strengths. We don’t feel good coming back from the mountains. It takes a good part of us. So, we’ll be coming back soon to the beautiful lands where our minds will be free again.
The Colours of Mind (2024)
On the way to the Annapurna Base Camp. We are mesmerised by the beautiful colours of these Mountains. We walked through dense forests, long stone stairs, and snow paths with our whole hearts. We witnessed a great exchange between different cultures. In these parts of the world, you will cherish the taste of Harmony.
